A Legacy of Quality Craftsmanship

Founded in 1968 by Dave Marsden and Bruce Mahler, Boston Tennis & Sports Court Company has grown from a small operation into an experienced court construction company and maintenance across eastern Massachusetts.

For over five decades, we've built and maintained courts for private residences, country clubs, municipal parks, and schools. Our expertise spans Har-Tru clay courts, hard court asphalt and concrete surfaces, and state-of-the-art post-tension concrete construction.

Today, as a division of Blue Claw Associates, we continue the tradition of excellence that Dave and Bruce established — bringing the same commitment to quality workmanship to every project we take on.

Quality Courts, Lasting Relationships

We build sport courts that perform at the highest level and stand the test of time. From initial consultation through final line striping, we manage every detail so you can focus on what matters — playing the game.

A Division of Blue Claw Associates

Blue Claw Associates is a full-service outdoor construction firm specializing in hardscaping, masonry, and sport court construction throughout eastern Massachusetts. Boston Tennis & Sports Court Company operates as a dedicated division focused exclusively on sport court work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of courts do you build?

We build tennis, pickleball, basketball, and multi-sport courts in Har-Tru clay, hard court (asphalt and concrete), and post-tension concrete surfaces.

We serve eastern Massachusetts — Metro Boston, the South Shore, Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard.

How long does it take to build a new court?

It varies by surface and site, but a typical new court takes a few weeks of construction after design and permitting. We provide a clear schedule at your consultation.

Do you offer maintenance programs?

Yes — we offer Har-Tru clay court service, seasonal openings and closings, and scheduled maintenance plans.
